त सामा चकेबा के खिस्सा हमरा थोड़े बहुत आबई ह, ओते ज्यादा नई।
Well, I don’t know much about the Sama-Chakeva story, not much really.
कोनो कहियाऊ न
Then tell us any other story.
अथी, खिस्सा में हम भगवान वाला खिस्सा कहि दइ छी।
Ok. Then I will tell a story from among those about the gods.
एगो छलखिन, अखैन हम सब जे पुजा पाठ करै छियय शिवगुरु के पुजा क रहल छियय ओ हुनकर हम कहि रहल छी आहा के शिव गुरु के बारे में।
There was a… now I am going to tell you about Shivguru (Lord Shiva), to whom we worship and pray.
तीन सूत्र करअ के छै।
Three sections are to be done.
पहिला सूत्र में ध्यान
Meditate in the first section.
दूसरे में चर्चा
Eulogize in the second.
तेसरा में नमन करियो १०८ बेर रुद्रास्मरण है।
And then, in the third, do Rudrasmaran 108 times
ई कंगन छै बारह कंगन
This bracelet is actually 12 bracelets.
एगो रिक्शावाला बहुत गरीब छलखिन। हुनका घर में कोनो चारा पानी नई छलन। ओ रिक्से चला क बाल बच्चा के भरन पोसन करै छलखिन अ। ओ शिवचर्चा कतऔ होइत रहे ओ रिक्शा चलबई लै गेलखिन त ओहि शिवचर्चा में जा के बइठ रहलखिन। ओ त शिवगुरु के चर्चा सुनई लगलखिन। बहुत सारा गुरु भाई बहिन ओइठामा बैठल रहथीन। चर्चा भ रहल छलैन,खिस्सा गीत सब होई छलैन। ओइ में जाके उ अपन मन ध्यान हुनके पर ध क सुनए लगलखिन। ओ अपन रिक्शा चलेनाई बिलकुल भूइल गेलखिन। तब भगवान कहलखिन, शिवगुरु कहलखिन जे “ई त एतए बैठल है, हिनकर धिया पुता कि खैतै। ई त रिक्से चला के बाल बच्चा के गुजर करै है कि खेतै हिनकर धिया पुता।”
उ अपने , शिवगुरु गेलखिन रिक्से चलबा वाला के रूप पेकैर क गेलखिन हुनकर घर पर सब समान ल क गेलखिन शाम के टाइम में जेते बेर मे उ अपन जाई छलखिन ओते बेर में घर पहुंचलखिन। पहुंचला के बाद हुनकर कनिया के कहलखिन , “लिय समान सब खाना बनाऊ।”
There once was a poor rickshaw puller. He didn’t have means to buy food for his children. His rickshaw was the only hope for him. One day he was passing by a place where Shivcharcha was being held. So it happened that he decided to listen for a while to the Shivcharcha being held there . Many devotees, brothers and sisters, were sitting there. The Shivcharcha was in full swing, and songs and stories were being recited by the priests. The rickshaw puller was listening intensely and was almost completely lost in meditation on Lord Shiva. He forgot that he also had a rickshaw to pull and a job to do in order to earn a livelihood for his family. Then the god said, Lord Shiva said “If this man keeps sitting over here, how will he feed his children! He provides for his family by pulling a rickshaw. So how will he take care of them?” Then Lord Shiva decided to take the form of the rickshaw puller and arrive at the rickshaw puller’s home exactly at the time the man himself used to return home on a good day. After Lord Shiva, in this form, reached the rickshaw puller’s home, he gave to the rickshaw puller’s wife some ingredients for making food, telling her, “Take these things and prepare the meal.”
जेना जई रूप में बजे छलखिन रिक्शावाला ओहि रूप में उ भगवान बजे छलखिन। त कहलकए ठीक है। कनिया खाना उना लगैलक बनैलक आ उ चइल गेला बेइठे के लिए दरवजा पर ।बेइठे ले कि जेता त उ चइल गेलखीन ओता स विदा भ गेलखीन। हुनकर पति एलखीन घर में , रिक्शावाला एलखीन त कहे छलखिन, “हम त कुछ नई कमेलिए त कि हमर धिया पुता खेतै।” उ चुपचाप जाके सुइत रहलखिन। सुतला के बाद में हुनकर कनिया कहे है यऊ खाना नई खेबै। त कहे है आह खाना हम कता स खैब जे आई हम कमेली अ। त कि कहे,”आहा मजाक करै छी। सबटा चीज त आहिं ल के आएल छलौं अहां कहे छी जे हम कमेबे नई केली। आ एई स पहिले जे द गेल रहिए।”
The god was talking and sounding exactly the way the rickshaw puller used to talk. The rickshaw puller’s wife said, “Ok, fine. I am going to prepare the meal.” And then the god said that he would sit outside. But the god actually left the rickshaw puller’s home after delivering the items to his wife. Later on, when the rickshaw puller arrived home he said to his wife, “I didn’t earn anything, so what will the children eat?” And then he went to bed. His wife then came calling to him and asked him, “Won’t you have dinner tonight?” The man replied, “Oh! How can I will have anything to eat if I didn’t earn anything today?” His wife responded “You are kidding. You only brought home all the stuff to cook a meal, and now you are saying that you didn’t earn anything today. Didn’t you, a while ago, deliver to me all the stuff to prepare food?”
त कहे छथिन कि जे ओ कीछ नाय हुनकर महिमा है जे बाबा हमरा घर पर आइब क पहुंचा गेलैथ ह। ओइ दिन स उ अपना कनिया के सबटा बात कहलखिन आ कहलखिन नय ध्यान करू हुनके पर। आदमी लंग बैठला से दू टा अथी भ जाय छै झगड़ा के घर भ जाय छै लेकिन भगवान पर ध्यान केला से भगवान सबटा पूर्ति करै छैथिन। ओइ दिन से उ अपन इहे प्रचार प्रसार में लाइग गेलैथ । उ रिक्शा चलेनाइ छोड़ के अपन भगवान के ध्यान करे लगलैथ। हुनकर घर में भगवान सब किछ के कमी नइ रहअ देलकैन।
The man replied, “It’s nothing, all of this actually is his blessings. Baba [Lord Shiva] himself came to our home to deliver the stuff.” He asked his wife to pray to Lord Shiva from that day onward. He said, “It’s likely that if you keep company with common people you could end up picking fights and having conflict, but if you immerse yourself in praying to Lord Shiva day and night, he will surely take care of all your needs.” From that day forth, the rickshaw puller began disseminating this message among the people he came across. He quit pulling a rickshaw and immersed himself day and night in thoughts of Lord Shiva. From that day on, the god never left anything lacking in his home.
